Sports and Recreation
Kalihati Upazila has been a popular sports destination since ancient times. Various tournaments are held
here every year. Among the popular sports here, cricket and football are now dominating but other sports  
are not lagging behind. There are several playgrounds in Kalihati. Among these are Kalihati RS Pilot High 
School, Kalihati and Shamsul Haq College, located in the heart of Elenga-town. Cricket and football
 competitions are held at this playground every year.
